Back in 2011, Sara made her first journey across the U.S. with a beloved friend, a crappy car and $150. She made it all the way to San Francisco. It didn’t take long before nearly all of her possessions were stolen. She had nothing but the clothes on her back, her identification and a few art supplies like a sketchbook, pencils and markers. She started spending her time drawing and sketching. She found inspiration from her friends and surroundings. She found a community of young creatives at a local creative drop in center for homeless youth. There, she had almost any art supplies you could imagine at her fingertips. She would get a little money from publishing her work on their website. Soon she started booking art shows.
Sara did not stay in San Francisco but 6 fruitful months. However, she continued her newly budded passion. She continued booking shows as well as traveling. She went on to develop multiple styles and mediums including painting, tattooing and digital arts. In her travels, she has had opportunities to work on many types of projects. She uses it all as learning experiences so she can always continue to grow.
Now, She is tattooing at Mystic tattoo in Buffalo, NY, a beautiful shop with a wonderful vibe.
